There is a Facebook group called PSSA Testing 2011: What Parents Need to Know Now. Anyone can join. It's not just about the testing Pennsylvania, but everywhere. Anyone who has concerns about these tests, or just would like more information, please join.
There is so much more information that we all need to make informed decisions. For too long we have trusted the politicians in Harrisburg and in Washington DC. We have trusted the those that said we need testing and those that make and grade the tests. All of us — kids, parents, teachers, principals, taxpayers — all of us have been deceived. I'll post more on this later today. Right now one of my kids has strep and needs something to soothe his throat.
